Today, we wanted to share a touching story from a family in Australia that show just how many lives and generations can be touched by a multi-generational building. Their story goes like this:
“We live in Australia and our Pan Abode kit home was imported from Canada in the 1970’s. We have lived in this beautiful home for 9 years and have had the most amazing life. As soon as you walk in the large open entrance you are greeted with warmth and a sense of welcoming.
We have lovingly oiled the beautiful western red cedar which has a richness you could not believe. Everyone that enters our home, it just takes their breath away. This home is very unique in our area and we are so proud to show everyone around. The thermal qualities are amazing, keeping our heating costs to a minimum and once cooled, retains the temperature for a very long time.
We have had 3 weddings, 2 x 21st birthday parties, 2 x 18th parties and various other significant events here. Such wonderful memories to hold on to in this amazing Pan Abode. We are sadly selling this amazing home, however, we are sure someone else will fall in love just as we did. Very proud to be able to share our story on this website. Thank you for the opportunity.”
